The People and Guidance Behind Medicare Resource Group
Proudly serving the Hudson Valley and surrounding communities with local Medicare guidance built around clarity, independence, and long-term support.
Built Around Local Medicare Guidance Since 2006
Medicare Resource Group was built to help people navigate Medicare without feeling pushed into confusing sales conversations or generic call-center experiences. Since 2006, the team has focused exclusively on Medicare guidance, helping individuals, retirees, caregivers, and people working past 65 make informed coverage decisions with confidence. As an independent brokerage, the organization reviews plan options from multiple carriers so recommendations can stay focused on fit, provider access, and long-term needs instead of one company's sales goals. Clients across the Hudson Valley and surrounding tri-state communities continue to rely on the team because they know there is a real office in Wappingers Falls and real people available when questions come up later.

What You Can Expect From Us Every Day
Independent Guidance
You should be able to compare Medicare options without feeling pressured toward a single carrier or one-size-fits-all recommendation. Independent plan reviews help make your choices feel clearer, more balanced, and easier to trust.
Local Accountability
Questions about Medicare often continue long after enrollment is complete, and having a nearby office helps people feel supported instead of left on their own. Clients know they can reach a real team in Wappingers Falls when they need help understanding changes or reviewing coverage.
Education First
Many people start Medicare feeling overwhelmed by deadlines, advertisements, and conflicting information. Educational seminars, enrollment support, and straightforward explanations help turn confusion into confidence.
Long-Term Support
Healthcare needs, provider networks, and prescription coverage can change over time, especially across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Florida seasonal travel patterns. Ongoing annual reviews help clients stay informed and avoid feeling stuck with plans that no longer fit.
Regional Understanding
Healthcare systems and provider access can vary significantly across the Hudson Valley, New York City, Long Island, Northern New Jersey, and Connecticut. Guidance shaped around how people actually receive care in these regions helps recommendations feel more practical and relevant.
The Process That Helps Medicare Feel Less Complicated
Many people come to Medicare Resource Group after trying to research Medicare online and realizing how difficult it is to sort through conflicting information alone. The process is designed to slow things down, explain options clearly, and help people feel comfortable asking questions without pressure. Whether someone is preparing for retirement, reviewing coverage during Annual Enrollment, or helping a parent understand plan options, the goal is always the same: make the next step feel manageable and informed. Local seminars, one-on-one consultations, and ongoing plan reviews all work together to provide support before and after enrollment.
Medicare Resource Group works with clients throughout the Hudson Valley, New York City, Long Island, Northern New Jersey, and Connecticut while maintaining the local feel of a community-based organization. Many clients appreciate having guidance from people who understand how provider systems, hospital networks, and regional healthcare access can differ across the tri-state area. The team regularly helps individuals in communities like Poughkeepsie, Wappingers Falls, and surrounding Dutchess County navigate Medicare decisions tied to retirement timing, prescription coverage, and seasonal living arrangements. Even as the organization has expanded its reach across 37 licensed states, the experience remains grounded in local relationships and direct support.
Many local residents also attend educational seminars and informational events hosted throughout the region to get straightforward answers about Medicare enrollment and plan changes. These community conversations help people feel more prepared and give them direct access to guidance from a nearby team instead of a national call center.
